A pair of sculptural figures depicting fighting roosters, likely Italian and dating to the Mid-20th Century. Crafted from cast metal with a silver-plated finish, each rooster is dynamically posed, featuring textured bodies detailed with feathering, prominent combs, and substantial, multi-layered tail feathers with a distinct ridged pattern. The material exhibits varying surface textures, from finely granulated on the bodies to smoother, shaped elements on the tail and wing feathers. No discernible manufacturer’s marks, hallmarks, or inscriptions are visible.
