Description
An R. Wallace & Sons Sterling Silver tea strainer, featuring a dark, turned wooden handle connected to an elaborate silver-toned metal bowl frame. The frame is decorated with Rococo-style scrolling and foliate motifs. Within the frame, a perforated insert is visible, appearing gold-toned on its interior surface and silver-toned on the exterior. The reverse of this insert is clearly marked "J.W.& S.", "STERLING, " and "539."
