Description
A Chinese Export Famille Rose ‘Millefleur’ lobed bowl. This large porcelain basin or bowl exhibits a polychrome enamel decoration in the Famille Rose style with extensive gilt accents. The exterior and interior rim feature dense, intricate floral and foliage patterns, often referred to as ‘Millefleur.’ The body of the bowl showcases reserves with painted scenes depicting elegant ladies in traditional attire within a garden or landscape setting. The base ring is highlighted with gold. The item is presented on a fitted, carved dark wood stand.
