Description
A set of five Wallace Sterling silver demitasse cup holders and saucers, each paired with a removable Lenox cream-colored porcelain insert. The sterling silver components feature a pierced geometric pattern around the cup holder’s rim and simple rectangular handles. Each silver piece is stamped ‘STERLING’. The porcelain inserts have gilded rims and bear a green ‘LENOX’ wreath mark with a stylized ‘L’ on the base.
Saucer diameter: 4.5 inches. Cup height: 2.5 inches. (200.2 grams total without inserts)
Condition report:
The sterling silver components exhibit significant tarnish and minor surface abrasions consistent with age and use. The porcelain inserts are in good overall condition with gilding intact. No chips, cracks, or repairs observed on the porcelain.
