Incredible Lifetime Collection of Atlanta Resident: Part I
Lot 201:
Description
A trio of contemporary decorative items, comprising two stylized Christmas trees and a reclining deer, exhibiting a rustic aesthetic suitable for festive or seasonal display. The objects are constructed primarily from natural birch bark for the tree bodies and the deer’s torso, complemented by galvanized metallic components finished in a distressed silver-tone. These metallic elements form the tree bases, star finials, and the deer’s head, antlers, and limbs, revealing a darker patinated underlayer beneath the silver. No identifying text or manufacturer’s marks are visible on the decorative pieces themselves.
Approximate dimensions:
Tallest trees: 17 inches (43.2 cm)
Deer: 12.5 inches (31.8 cm) high
Condition report:
Good condition, consistent with the intentional aged and distressed style. No significant damage observed beyond natural variations in the birch bark. The distressed silver-tone finish with patinated underlayer is inherent to the design.
