Description
A vintage composition doll by Madame Alexander, identified as a "McGuffey Ana" model and often referred to as "Princess Elizabeth." The doll features a blonde wig styled in pigtails with front curls, fixed brown eyes, and painted facial features. She is dressed in a floral print frock with a white lace-trimmed collar, topped with a sheer white pinafore apron, and completed with white knit socks and yellow button-strap shoes; a blue bow adorns one pigtail. The doll bears a handwritten tag that reads "1939 Compo (Princess Eliz) McGuffey Ana (hat missing)" and a fabric label indicating "McGuffeyana Doll Corp. All Rights Reserved. New York."
