Description
A pair of substantial patinated copper or bronze alloy decorative vessels. Each features a wide, everted rim, a tapering body, and a flared foot. A prominent pierced openwork band, displaying a geometric, stylized arch or trefoil pattern, encircles the upper portion of the body. The copper or bronze alloy material exhibits a significant, mottled patina with shades of green, blue-green, and reddish-brown oxidation. No discernible maker’s marks or inscriptions are visible.
Approximately 21 inches (53 cm) high.
Condition report:
General wear, surface pitting, and oxidation consistent with age. Significant, mottled patina throughout. No apparent repairs or major structural damage.
