Description
This decorative round plate or shallow charger is crafted from painted wood or a lacquered composite material and is presented on a black metal display stand. The front features an ornate, scrolling botanical and foliate design rendered in gold and muted cream hues, set against a textured light grey or taupe field. A wide black border, adorned with continuous gold scrolling motifs, encircles the central design, and the rim is finished in gold. The reverse is painted matte black. A partial label on the back is visible, with legible text fragments “Hand Use” and “in food,” suggesting the probable instruction “For Decorative Use Only, Not For Use In Food.”
Condition report:
Good overall apparent condition, showing minor wear consistent with display. The reverse exhibits minor surface scuffs.
