Description
A framed neoclassical-style relief plaque, featuring a central rectangular composition depicting a standing figure in profile. The figure is draped in classical attire and holds a ewer, rendered in white with incised details against a mottled brownish background, suggestive of a jasperware-style ceramic or plaster relief. The plaque is presented within a broad, textured reddish-brown mat, bordered by a thin gilt or brass fillet with a wave pattern. The entire piece is housed within an elaborately carved wooden frame, adorned with scrolling and foliate motifs, finished in a warm brown tone. No visible text or markings are present on the front of the piece.
