Lot 70:
Description
12 x 36
A decorative table lamp, featuring a light-colored fabric shade on a heavily carved and distressed base. The base and column exhibit ornate, traditional-style motifs, including foliate carvings on the urn-shaped mid-section and a tiered square base, topped by a textured finial. The primary material for the base and column appears to be carved wood or resin, covered in a deliberately aged, mottled brown and grey finish with intentional chips, crackle, and lighter distressing. The lampshade is a tapered drum or empire style in an off-white linen-like fabric. Visible markings on the black plastic socket include standard electrical warnings such as "UL LISTED LAMP HOLDER" and "USE MAX 100 WATT TYPE A BULB."
Condition report:
The lamp is in generally good condition. The distressed finish is an intentional aesthetic feature of the design. The lampshade shows minor creasing. No apparent structural damage.
