Description
A high-quality Chippendale-style mahogany console table manufactured by Baker Furniture. The table features a solid rectangular top with a molded edge. The front apron is ornately decorated with hand-carved motifs, including a prominent central scallop shell flanked by scrolling acanthus leaves and floral rosettes. The piece is supported by four cabriole legs with deeply carved acanthus leaves at the knees, terminating in well-defined ball-and-claw feet. The table is finished on all sides, including the back, allowing it to be placed away from a wall. The underside bears an oval metal manufacturer label transcribed as Baker Furniture around a central crown and flower logo.

Condition report:
Very good condition with minor signs of age and use. Several small white scuffs and paint transfer marks are visible on the lower portions of the ball-and-claw feet. Light surface scratches are present on the top consistent with normal residential use. Minor dust and cobwebs are present on the lower legs and underside. Structural integrity is sound with solid construction.
