Description
This original oil painting on canvas titled Sunday Afternoon is by Paul Landry. The composition depicts a coastal garden scene featuring two women in white period-style dresses surrounded by a variety of flowers in red, yellow, blue, and purple tones. In the background, sailboats are visible on a body of water against a shoreline and a clouded sky. The work is signed and dated lower right: Paul Landry ’88. The painting is housed in an ornate, multi-tiered gilt wood frame with a neutral linen liner. The reverse of the frame bears a village gallery label identifying the artist, title, and medium, along with a printed artist biography. A measurement tag is attached to the hanging wire.
