Lot 28:
Description
A wall-mounted decorative item by ‘Country Corner’, combining a functional clock with a vintage-style sign, evoking 19th-century pub or saloon aesthetics. The circular clock features a dark stained wooden frame surrounding a cream-colored face with black Roman numerals and ornate black metal hands, marked "Dewberry London 1875" below the XII. Directly beneath, a shaped rectangular sign panel, also with a dark stained wooden frame, displays a dark red background with gold lettering that reads "BILLIARD SALOON, " "New members Welcome, " "LONDON WEST END, " and "open daily." A prominent three-dimensional relief figure of a man playing billiards, painted in period-appropriate attire, is centered on the lower portion of the sign. The entire piece is constructed from painted wood and composite materials for the relief elements.
