Description
A Coppercraft of Hollywood Mid-Century Modern relief plaque, depicting the stylized profile of a young woman of East Asian appearance holding a fan. The central artwork is crafted from copper or a similar warm-toned metal, with portions of the figure and details rendered in a contrasting darker, possibly patinated or painted, finish, set against a background with a subtle grid pattern. On the fan, three raised Chinese characters, 青春艷 (Qīngchūn yàn), translate to “Youthful Beauty” or “Enchanting Youth.” A stylized monogram, appearing as “CS” or similar, is present in the lower right of the metalwork. The plaque is presented within a textured, light brown mat and framed in dark-stained wood. The verso features a label identifying it as “An Original Creation / CopperCraft / Hollywood / Hand Processed • Hand Painted.”
