Description
A vintage Keeler Pantoscope ophthalmic instrument set, likely dating from the mid-to-late 20th century. The set is housed within a textured red rectangular case with brass-toned latches and a purple satin-lined interior. The main instrument is composed of black and off-white plastic with chrome-plated metal parts, marked "PHOTOGRAM JAPAN." Accompanying accessories include a spare bulb labeled "BULB 2 1/2 V." The case lid bears a ribbon with "KEELEE ENGLAND" and a "WARNING" label detailing proper usage and cooling requirements for the instrument.
Accompanying this lot is a second vintage medical diagnostic instrument set, also likely dating from the mid-to-late 20th century. This set is housed in a black, textured zipper case with a molded cream-colored interior. It contains a primary instrument with a textured silver-toned metal handle and a black plastic head marked "W B L C EDKOX, " alongside various chrome-plated attachments, one of which is marked "WALD." A stylized "W" or "M" emblem adorns the exterior of the black case.
Condition report:
Both sets appear to be in good, used condition consistent with their age. The red case shows some external wear. The black set appears particularly well-preserved.
