Description
10 x 20 x 13 A vintage ophthalmic vision training device, identified by its labels as a “KEYSTONE TEL-EYE TRAINER” and “KEYSTONE OPHTHALMIC TELE-BINOCULAR.” Manufactured by “KEYSTONE VIEW CO. STEREOPHTHALMIC DIVISION, MEADVILLE, PA. MADE IN U.S.A., ” the item is numbered 371R1255. It is constructed predominantly from dark gray or black crinkle-finish cast metal, featuring a binocular eyepiece assembly, adjustable controls with chrome-plated levers, and a heavy, ribbed base. An electrical cord is attached. One label provides instructions: “READ POSITION OF SLIDE HOLDER FROM BACK EDGE” next to numerical scales.
