Description
A pair of Japanese porcelain decorative plates, imported by B-S Creations, New York, presented within a rectangular gold-toned frame. The small, round plates are crafted from white porcelain or ceramic with gold-toned rims and are vertically arranged against a black velvet mat. The upper plate features a hand-painted motif of a tree branch with red-orange blossoms, alongside a cluster of prominent blue, orange, and pink flowers with green foliage, executed in a style reminiscent of Famille Rose porcelain. The lower plate depicts a landscape scene with a white-blossomed tree, yellow and orange flowers, and a small stream. The reverse of the frame bears a green and white label for “B-S Creations New York, ” marked with “#6275” and stating “Made in Japan, ” imported exclusively by B-S Co.

Condition report:
The porcelain plates and their painted decorations appear to be in good visual condition. The gold-toned frame exhibits minor wear consistent with age and handling. The reverse paper dust cover is significantly torn and creased.
