An electroplated nickel silver coffee pot by Barbour Silver Company, dating to the late 19th to early 20th century, reflecting Neo-Classical Revival influences. This octagonal pot features a faceted body and a hinged domed lid topped with a finial, all mounted on a stepped circular pedestal base. It is fitted with a curved spout and a squared handle with dark insulators. The object is decorated with engraved bands of foliate swags and oval motifs around the upper body and lid, with larger foliate drops on the main body, centering on one side with a stylized engraved initial ‘L’ within a cartouche. The underside is marked ‘BSCEP’, ‘N.S.’ (Nickel Silver), and ‘5309’.
