A pair of counter-height stools designed in a rustic or country ladder-back style. Each stool features a light-toned wooden frame with turned legs and stretchers, supporting a square, hand-woven rush seat. The backrest is composed of three horizontally curved slats, and the stiles are topped with small finial-like elements. No visible text or manufacturer’s markings are discernible.
Condition report:
Wear consistent with age and use. The wooden elements exhibit scuffs, scratches, and areas of finish loss, particularly noticeable on the front stretchers which function as footrests. The rush seats are generally intact with minor discoloration and light surface wear.
