A rectangular framed wall clock featuring a dark-stained or ebonized wooden frame. The frame is adorned with an ornate, classical revival-style decorative border composed of molded gesso or resin elements, including repeated ovals and foliate scrolls, accented with traces of a gold-colored finish. The central dark panel houses a circular clock face, which is light-toned with black Roman numeral hour markers and black hour, minute, and second hands. The word "QUARTZ" is clearly visible on the lower half of the clock face, indicating a modern movement. An intricate, dark-toned bezel with floral or foliate embellishments surrounds the clock face. This piece presents a traditional aesthetic, consistent with a contemporary or vintage production from the mid-to-late 20th century onwards.
